Reinstall PC program and application - This is truly a sign of desperation. Change USB cable - For this, I actually purchased TWO new USB cables - one with standard connector and one with mini connector - no change in dropped connections. Change USB port - I tried both of the USB ports on my laptop BEFORE I contacted Product Support - no change in dropped connections. Use virtual display in ON mode - If Product Support had reviewed the logs, it would have been obvious that I was using virtual display in ON mode - nope, that wasn't the issue. I received a generic email response with 4 possible "solutions": 1. Updated May 29: I supplied the log files in my original contact with Product Support. Product support did not offer any useful solutions.

At the time of this post there is a 2 hour trial period where you can easily get a refund through the Android store, but the devs seem responsive from what I've seen on the other comments if you have an issue. I turned this setting off and the system detected my tablet no problem. On my first connection my tablet screen flashed white a couple times then returned to normal.
In the TwoMon desktop app there is a setting: Display Setting\u0026gt TwoMon Virtual display. Figure out what your tablet display size is before going in so that it connects at the right resolution. The Display settings are accessed from the TwoMon app on your desktop, not through the normal right-click on the desktop menu. Pointers: Remember to turn on USB debugging on your tablet. to get it right with my tablet, but it works great! I'm only using it for a second display for office type work.MS Office suite, email, etc. It took me about 10 minutes of download, playing around with settings, etc.
